Mirtille's founding partners are the husband and wife team of Francois and
Isabelle Chevillotte. They have both enjoyed successful corporate careers in
their native France before developing the concept for Mirtille.

Isabelle was born and raised in the Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine, where
as a young girl she spent much time in her mother's kitchen developing her
passion for the simpler and lighter varieties of French food. Experimenting
with different combinations of herbs, meats and fruits, she would frequently
prepare tasty, yet healthy meals for family and friends.
From early childhood Isabelle had a
passionate interest in farm-fresh produce,
regularly frequenting the farmers markets of
Paris in search of fresh, seasonal fruits and
vegetables, Together with Francois, Isabelle
has combined that love of fresh, natural
ingredients with a passion for preparing fine
meals, especially the kinds of fresh salads,
hand-crafted sandwiches, delectable
pastries and fine coffees that are
the mainstay of local bistros.

Europeans approach their meals with a joie de
vivre - they savor the moment and their food!
Now Isabelle and Francois will bring that
"joy of living" with Mirtille to the Bay area.
